Getting ITIN number from the United States

When I first recieved my authors contract from Dog Ear,  I also recieved an W8BEN sheet.  This was the form to fill after to the publisher,  I but I needed to get an ITIN by filling out a W-7 form first.  The ITIN is like a social security number for people outside of the United States, in order to gain access to some treaty rights.  The treaty rights between Canada and the United States on royalties for books, when having an ITIN is between 0 % and whatever rate they determine by their taxation laws.  Without the ITIN,  I would be charged 30 % interest on my revenues ( mind that it has to be over 1000 dollars,  before any taxation occurs in the U.S.).

So I filled out the W-7 form,  and gave the appropriate identification.  You can have just alone your passport,  or both your drivers license and another piece of identification as listed on their website.  You can go to a magistrate,  to make copies of them if you wish.  The IRS will send back the identification,  so everyone says,  but if you need your papers for any business expect them to be gone for a good while of time. Maybe 8 weeks or longer.  Now,  as my luck would have it,  there is a Canada Post strike on hand now.  I do not expect to be done of this business anytime in the near future,  as my application got a 60 day wait period stuck on to it.  I sent them a paper from Dog Ear publishing with addresses and such,  but it was not good enough for them.  They wanted,  written,  signed paper from their accountants with the account number on it for payment.  I had everything but that,  so it seems I may have to start all over again.    For real information on this subject ( As it can change anytime),  please visit the IRS or phone them to get the real up to date goods.

Carbon tax. At first, the Canadian Federal Government, under the Liberals, unrolled a tax where 90 % of it was exposed to go back to the payers of the program.  Now, just that sentence alone. Think about it. 10 % going to schools, hospitals... I guess... And 90 % going back to the pocket that spent it... But, not your direct pocket. Not saying all of the provinces would have done it in the same way. At the first roll out, New Brunswick, the province in which I lived, just reduced the tax on gasoline to make up for the carbon tax increase. The feds said, no no, that is not right.. Borador- labrador collie mix

 Borador, we got this pup in the fall of 2022, and was a dog that looked more like a black labrador when he was a pup. We got him around 4 to 5 months old, and was a biter. He loved to bite. He loved to eat rocks. You could take him for walks, and, he would start picking up rocks and chewing on them. Some, he swallowed. For sure, we tried to give him a treat, to get the rock out of his mouth before he swallowed some of them. We had to learn also, to take him on trails where there was no little rocks for him to chew or swallow. He would, puke them up, at night and it made us worry about him very much. Then winter came, froze the ground for 4 months or so. Good thing, as he forgot about picking up rocks as the winter passed and 2023 summer is here. He now, likes chasing and fetching sticks.  He did do messes in the house the first 2 months we had him at the house. He eventually, learned to go outside to do his things. They say you are more famous when you are dead.. lol...

 Have to see, and say, the viewership on this blog, has nearly tripled since its start in 2012 approximately. I went through a dry spell from 2014 to 2016, then a spike in 2017, then 2020 a short blip of a month or so, and finally the last 6 months of 2022 to today, I have been getting viewership spikes in the 1000s, outpacing my first 2012 by 3 times as many viewers. And, I have not been producing any books during this time, even creating anything. It is mostly from the USA, then France, Eastern European countries, Russia, and a few from Asia views. True what they say,  you are more famous when you are dead when you are a creator, than alive. I feel dead right now. I have nothing on the board to create, no focus or means to get Part 5 done. There is no release of anything to any publisher at this point in time. Strange how marketing goes. You take the famous Budweiser, with Spuds Mckenzie long ago.
