Wet winter weather for the end of November!

Here in Northern New Brunswick, we have got some snow overnight that changed to rain in the morning. It is forecast to rain off and on till mid week, with a high of 12 C.  We are then expected to go back to minus 2 by Friday, with a little snow to boot.

When I was young, the climate was fairly cold ( in the minus) in November. If I remember correctly, once the temperature changed, it was rare for it to go into the mild again.  Not many people are complaining, though, because the cold weather is not fun. And, if one thing is for certain, we will have those minus 30 days sometime, in January or February. Some people are awaiting the snow for Christmas. Some people just want it for their ski doos, or for myself, to do some skiing. I am wondering if this is due to global warming, or the pacific ocean weather phenomenon.

Besides that, not much else to report on the book. I have to get one over to the neighbor, as he requested a signed one. I better do it before he forgets about it, and then thinks that I work for a type of Avon book company.

Now... That is a great idea!  An Avon, calling, book company.... I do not have the brains to do it, or the time, but I believe a door to door book mobile could very well sell a book at a third of every house they go to. I am serious. Especially if you have my book,  The Supermarket Guy, in your collection...  Well, it would be nice... No, this is a great idea. Someone out there will get it going, and do very well. I know in my area, people do not know where the bookstores are. They, like to read, and usually get a magazine or a newspaper. But, a door to door book salesperson can sell a wide spectrum of books to a rural area or a city in a matter of no time. And, I bet he could nearly empty the back of his van, while doing it. I am not a business savvy person, so it is out of the question for me to get this thing going...  I am just beer sudsy.

Carbon tax. At first, the Canadian Federal Government, under the Liberals, unrolled a tax where 90 % of it was exposed to go back to the payers of the program.  Now, just that sentence alone. Think about it. 10 % going to schools, hospitals... I guess... And 90 % going back to the pocket that spent it... But, not your direct pocket. Not saying all of the provinces would have done it in the same way. At the first roll out, New Brunswick, the province in which I lived, just reduced the tax on gasoline to make up for the carbon tax increase. The feds said, no no, that is not right.. That is not what it is intended to be with this carbon tax.. So eventually, we may have gotten back one carbon tax check one year, and I truly forget. Now, far as I know, I never received a carbon tax cheque back to my pocket...  But I do know, of programs, that went to buy heatpumps for people under a certain income... Borador- labrador collie mix

 Borador, we got this pup in the fall of 2022, and was a dog that looked more like a black labrador when he was a pup. We got him around 4 to 5 months old, and was a biter. He loved to bite. He loved to eat rocks. You could take him for walks, and, he would start picking up rocks and chewing on them. Some, he swallowed. For sure, we tried to give him a treat, to get the rock out of his mouth before he swallowed some of them. We had to learn also, to take him on trails where there was no little rocks for him to chew or swallow. He would, puke them up, at night and it made us worry about him very much. Then winter came, froze the ground for 4 months or so. Good thing, as he forgot about picking up rocks as the winter passed and 2023 summer is here. He now, likes chasing and fetching sticks.  He did do messes in the house the first 2 months we had him at the house. He eventually, learned to go outside to do his things. They say you are more famous when you are dead.. lol...

 Have to see, and say, the viewership on this blog, has nearly tripled since its start in 2012 approximately. I went through a dry spell from 2014 to 2016, then a spike in 2017, then 2020 a short blip of a month or so, and finally the last 6 months of 2022 to today, I have been getting viewership spikes in the 1000s, outpacing my first 2012 by 3 times as many viewers. And, I have not been producing any books during this time, even creating anything. It is mostly from the USA, then France, Eastern European countries, Russia, and a few from Asia views. True what they say,  you are more famous when you are dead when you are a creator, than alive. I feel dead right now. I have nothing on the board to create, no focus or means to get Part 5 done. There is no release of anything to any publisher at this point in time. Strange how marketing goes. You take the famous Budweiser, with Spuds Mckenzie long ago.
