Did not even start, Christmas shopping yet!

What to buy?  Where to shop for Christmas?  So many choices, so little time. Oddly enough, I waited right until December 24 th last year to shop. And, oddly enough, the malls were not up to full capacity at all. The line ups were really short, as it was only myself (the oddball) and a few other oddballs shopping so late.  Maybe, it is the way to go. As everyone is getting into the habit of shopping early, at least around this area.  Just that being in a Northern, shrinking demographic, there is only a few department stores you can choose from... Sometimes, hard to find items are, exactly hard to find...

I try to support the local area malls. My wife tells me at times, we need to go to Moncton to shop. I find it so busy in Moncton ( southern New Brunswick has built up way faster than the shrinking North), they have all the stores there. It is definitely nice to go now and then, but I try to help my fellow retailers as much as possible.

It is hard to shop, what do you shop for? The people I buy for, have in some respects more than what I alone have. I am thinking, of the non materialistic side of giving this year.

Give some tickets to a great concert. Give some tickets to a movie. Give some tickets to a great restaurant that everyone says is fantastic. Get that someone a bottle of hardstuff.... Yeah, the old hardstuff... That will cut down your shopping in half, if you make the ticket thing, a family event...  Till then, and good luck with the Christmas shopping...

Carbon tax. At first, the Canadian Federal Government, under the Liberals, unrolled a tax where 90 % of it was exposed to go back to the payers of the program.  Now, just that sentence alone. Think about it. 10 % going to schools, hospitals... I guess... And 90 % going back to the pocket that spent it... But, not your direct pocket. Not saying all of the provinces would have done it in the same way. At the first roll out, New Brunswick, the province in which I lived, just reduced the tax on gasoline to make up for the carbon tax increase. The feds said, no no, that is not right.. That is not what it is intended to be with this carbon tax.. So eventually, we may have gotten back one carbon tax check one year, and I truly forget. Now, far as I know, I never received a carbon tax cheque back to my pocket...  But I do know, of programs, that went to buy heatpumps for people under a certain income... Borador- labrador collie mix

 Borador, we got this pup in the fall of 2022, and was a dog that looked more like a black labrador when he was a pup. We got him around 4 to 5 months old, and was a biter. He loved to bite. He loved to eat rocks. You could take him for walks, and, he would start picking up rocks and chewing on them. Some, he swallowed. For sure, we tried to give him a treat, to get the rock out of his mouth before he swallowed some of them. We had to learn also, to take him on trails where there was no little rocks for him to chew or swallow. He would, puke them up, at night and it made us worry about him very much. Then winter came, froze the ground for 4 months or so. Good thing, as he forgot about picking up rocks as the winter passed and 2023 summer is here. He now, likes chasing and fetching sticks.  He did do messes in the house the first 2 months we had him at the house. He eventually, learned to go outside to do his things. They say you are more famous when you are dead.. lol...

 Have to see, and say, the viewership on this blog, has nearly tripled since its start in 2012 approximately. I went through a dry spell from 2014 to 2016, then a spike in 2017, then 2020 a short blip of a month or so, and finally the last 6 months of 2022 to today, I have been getting viewership spikes in the 1000s, outpacing my first 2012 by 3 times as many viewers. And, I have not been producing any books during this time, even creating anything. It is mostly from the USA, then France, Eastern European countries, Russia, and a few from Asia views. True what they say,  you are more famous when you are dead when you are a creator, than alive. I feel dead right now. I have nothing on the board to create, no focus or means to get Part 5 done. There is no release of anything to any publisher at this point in time. Strange how marketing goes. You take the famous Budweiser, with Spuds Mckenzie long ago.
