Winds are high here today!

The winds in northern NB are high gusts 80 km/hr at times. The snow melted big time yesterday, as small streams of water could be seen cutting into the ice and snow towards the lower lying areas. It was plus 15 C yesterday, quite a change from the minus 5 or so before hand. Today, it is minus 3.

I twitted allot yesterday. I managed to get 10 followers, the most I ever had. I now stand at 147 followers. These are people that just jump on board. For a good while I have just be advertising to see how many people would click on and follow when advertising through the twitter universe. I put my advertising through channels called 200aday, then 3000aday. No one is hardly in the 3000aday universe. My posts are still on top from last night. The 200aday is more active, as the action is fast. We go there, thinking we can catch, 200 followers in a day, but this just does not happen.

Besides that, not much new on the book front. Still waiting for news on Part 2, but may have to wait 3 weeks before the first proof arrive. They are working on the cover, and it will pass by fast. Part 3 is put away for another day. Sales would have to rocket away, for to publish it fast. Right now, the dust is collecting on it. Part 3 is more of a global scale threat, and Harold has to save the day again, with a little bit of luck and skill. Part 2 does talk about Part 3 a little bit in the chapters farther down. The three parts do link together, fairly good, I hope.

Well, time to go. The Unemployment rate is 10.1 % in New Brunswick. This is high, but also the North always had a high Unemployment rate in the teens to 20 % anyways. Very sad new numbers, for such a beautiful province.  Till next time...

Carbon tax. At first, the Canadian Federal Government, under the Liberals, unrolled a tax where 90 % of it was exposed to go back to the payers of the program.  Now, just that sentence alone. Think about it. 10 % going to schools, hospitals... I guess... And 90 % going back to the pocket that spent it... But, not your direct pocket. Not saying all of the provinces would have done it in the same way. At the first roll out, New Brunswick, the province in which I lived, just reduced the tax on gasoline to make up for the carbon tax increase. The feds said, no no, that is not right.. That is not what it is intended to be with this carbon tax.. So eventually, we may have gotten back one carbon tax check one year, and I truly forget. Now, far as I know, I never received a carbon tax cheque back to my pocket...  But I do know, of programs, that went to buy heatpumps for people under a certain income... Borador- labrador collie mix

 Borador, we got this pup in the fall of 2022, and was a dog that looked more like a black labrador when he was a pup. We got him around 4 to 5 months old, and was a biter. He loved to bite. He loved to eat rocks. You could take him for walks, and, he would start picking up rocks and chewing on them. Some, he swallowed. For sure, we tried to give him a treat, to get the rock out of his mouth before he swallowed some of them. We had to learn also, to take him on trails where there was no little rocks for him to chew or swallow. He would, puke them up, at night and it made us worry about him very much. Then winter came, froze the ground for 4 months or so. Good thing, as he forgot about picking up rocks as the winter passed and 2023 summer is here. He now, likes chasing and fetching sticks.  He did do messes in the house the first 2 months we had him at the house. He eventually, learned to go outside to do his things. They say you are more famous when you are dead.. lol...

 Have to see, and say, the viewership on this blog, has nearly tripled since its start in 2012 approximately. I went through a dry spell from 2014 to 2016, then a spike in 2017, then 2020 a short blip of a month or so, and finally the last 6 months of 2022 to today, I have been getting viewership spikes in the 1000s, outpacing my first 2012 by 3 times as many viewers. And, I have not been producing any books during this time, even creating anything. It is mostly from the USA, then France, Eastern European countries, Russia, and a few from Asia views. True what they say,  you are more famous when you are dead when you are a creator, than alive. I feel dead right now. I have nothing on the board to create, no focus or means to get Part 5 done. There is no release of anything to any publisher at this point in time. Strange how marketing goes. You take the famous Budweiser, with Spuds Mckenzie long ago.
