It is some windy and cold out today. The total opposite to the Central USA heatwave they had, a little while ago. Good day to actually do some writing, again. I will try to write, a page or two. Maybe I will draw out the cover for Part 3 today, it is so hard to decide what to do!  I actually could use some exercise, too. My beer gut is starting to show, a little bit ;)

My Goodreads contest is going alright, with 80 people signed up to win a copy of "The Supermarket Guy 2". The mother in law liked the book, so at least it past the most important test of them all! I sent a version to the United Kingdom to a reviewer today. It cost 9 dollars and some change for the boat voyage, or 17. and some change for the flight. I decided to go first class, and pay for the air mail. Why leave someone wait, that long for an experience that they will never forget! Reading my book..

Yes, this person will give me a review on her blog. I am anxious to see what she thinks of the book. And, as said earlier, I accept all criticism and even some accolades. I respect any opinion, no matter which way it goes. You cannot please everyone, but you try to please most of the readers out there with the best of entertainment you can scrounge from out of the dark recesses of the mind :)  I would like to put allot more comedy on this site, but I try to save it for the books... Hopefully the writers block will go away, so I can continue to write. I had a little bit of that just recently...

Carbon tax. At first, the Canadian Federal Government, under the Liberals, unrolled a tax where 90 % of it was exposed to go back to the payers of the program.  Now, just that sentence alone. Think about it. 10 % going to schools, hospitals... I guess... And 90 % going back to the pocket that spent it... But, not your direct pocket. Not saying all of the provinces would have done it in the same way. At the first roll out, New Brunswick, the province in which I lived, just reduced the tax on gasoline to make up for the carbon tax increase. The feds said, no no, that is not right.. That is not what it is intended to be with this carbon tax.. So eventually, we may have gotten back one carbon tax check one year, and I truly forget. Now, far as I know, I never received a carbon tax cheque back to my pocket...  But I do know, of programs, that went to buy heatpumps for people under a certain income... Borador- labrador collie mix

 Borador, we got this pup in the fall of 2022, and was a dog that looked more like a black labrador when he was a pup. We got him around 4 to 5 months old, and was a biter. He loved to bite. He loved to eat rocks. You could take him for walks, and, he would start picking up rocks and chewing on them. Some, he swallowed. For sure, we tried to give him a treat, to get the rock out of his mouth before he swallowed some of them. We had to learn also, to take him on trails where there was no little rocks for him to chew or swallow. He would, puke them up, at night and it made us worry about him very much. Then winter came, froze the ground for 4 months or so. Good thing, as he forgot about picking up rocks as the winter passed and 2023 summer is here. He now, likes chasing and fetching sticks.  He did do messes in the house the first 2 months we had him at the house. He eventually, learned to go outside to do his things. They say you are more famous when you are dead.. lol...

 Have to see, and say, the viewership on this blog, has nearly tripled since its start in 2012 approximately. I went through a dry spell from 2014 to 2016, then a spike in 2017, then 2020 a short blip of a month or so, and finally the last 6 months of 2022 to today, I have been getting viewership spikes in the 1000s, outpacing my first 2012 by 3 times as many viewers. And, I have not been producing any books during this time, even creating anything. It is mostly from the USA, then France, Eastern European countries, Russia, and a few from Asia views. True what they say,  you are more famous when you are dead when you are a creator, than alive. I feel dead right now. I have nothing on the board to create, no focus or means to get Part 5 done. There is no release of anything to any publisher at this point in time. Strange how marketing goes. You take the famous Budweiser, with Spuds Mckenzie long ago.
