Lice ain' nice!

A friend of mines kid has Lice. A long time ago, lice was considered a thing caused by filth. How little do we know, that it is actually dirty heads that lice try to avoid. If you wash your hair every day, then lice will love you.

It can happen to anyone. If your kid is close to another kid, touch hair, share hats, it can happen as easy as that. Kindergarten, is a great place for it to happen.

You can get special shampoos for to wash it out. There are some areas which claim that super bugs have now been created, or super lice, that are resistant to these special shampoos. Also, if you are pregnant, check to see if you can use them first. The chemicals can be absorbed through the skin, and may have ill effects for the pregnancy.

There are natural products out there to use, that are deemed safe for child bearing moms. Tea tree oil is said to help to get rid of lice. Also, olive oil is said to coat the head, and smother the lice, making it unable for them to get air for to breath. It makes hair slippery so they cannot lay eggs on the hair strands. Mayonnaise over your head, is said to also block oxygen to the lice, smothering them away bit by bit. Leave the mayonnaise on for a good period of time, for it to be effective.  Also, gels maybe used, to get them away from your scalp, doing the same thing.

The bad part about it, is that you may not show the symptoms of lice, for many days later. It takes time for the eggs to hatch, a person may not know it until then.

Carbon tax. At first, the Canadian Federal Government, under the Liberals, unrolled a tax where 90 % of it was exposed to go back to the payers of the program.  Now, just that sentence alone. Think about it. 10 % going to schools, hospitals... I guess... And 90 % going back to the pocket that spent it... But, not your direct pocket. Not saying all of the provinces would have done it in the same way. At the first roll out, New Brunswick, the province in which I lived, just reduced the tax on gasoline to make up for the carbon tax increase. The feds said, no no, that is not right.. That is not what it is intended to be with this carbon tax.. So eventually, we may have gotten back one carbon tax check one year, and I truly forget. Now, far as I know, I never received a carbon tax cheque back to my pocket...  But I do know, of programs, that went to buy heatpumps for people under a certain income... Borador- labrador collie mix

 Borador, we got this pup in the fall of 2022, and was a dog that looked more like a black labrador when he was a pup. We got him around 4 to 5 months old, and was a biter. He loved to bite. He loved to eat rocks. You could take him for walks, and, he would start picking up rocks and chewing on them. Some, he swallowed. For sure, we tried to give him a treat, to get the rock out of his mouth before he swallowed some of them. We had to learn also, to take him on trails where there was no little rocks for him to chew or swallow. He would, puke them up, at night and it made us worry about him very much. Then winter came, froze the ground for 4 months or so. Good thing, as he forgot about picking up rocks as the winter passed and 2023 summer is here. He now, likes chasing and fetching sticks.  He did do messes in the house the first 2 months we had him at the house. He eventually, learned to go outside to do his things. They say you are more famous when you are dead.. lol...

 Have to see, and say, the viewership on this blog, has nearly tripled since its start in 2012 approximately. I went through a dry spell from 2014 to 2016, then a spike in 2017, then 2020 a short blip of a month or so, and finally the last 6 months of 2022 to today, I have been getting viewership spikes in the 1000s, outpacing my first 2012 by 3 times as many viewers. And, I have not been producing any books during this time, even creating anything. It is mostly from the USA, then France, Eastern European countries, Russia, and a few from Asia views. True what they say,  you are more famous when you are dead when you are a creator, than alive. I feel dead right now. I have nothing on the board to create, no focus or means to get Part 5 done. There is no release of anything to any publisher at this point in time. Strange how marketing goes. You take the famous Budweiser, with Spuds Mckenzie long ago.
