2nd draft done on "Supermarket Dominium"

I am glad that I finally finished the second draft of "Supermarket Dominium"  with spell check gone through for many errors.

Today I went to try to find a local editor. Someone who can proofread it for grammar, mistakes, and flow.

I got a call from a local library, whereas I asked about earlier if the workers there knew of any editing people around the small city of Bathurst. They did not know, nor did the local bookstore there.  The call came to notify me of someones book release in Beresford.

It was an elderly woman of 77 years of age. Her book was in french, and there was a line up to get her book. A steady line up, might I add. It made me think of how I was missing out, in not having my own book translated and printed in French. She was selling the book for 20 dollars a piece. It was a 220 page book, approximately.

When I got to her, I said "Felicitations" in French. She asked where I resided, and such, and said she was overwhelmed with the response today for her book. As I said, there was a steady flow of people that came in to buy her book. I waited in a line up for 10 minutes at least, and this was at the near end of the event.

There they had someone from Montreal on how to self publish. I did talk to members of a local reading and author group, who said they would try to find an English editor for me. I gave this person my e mail, but this late at night and I got no response so far.

I must say to see the look on the old ladies face, when I bought her book was quite a thing to see. I could see she felt excited, and she blushed as I placed down the money for her book. Her reaction took me by surprise as well, as it brought back feelings of how I felt when I made the first few sales of my own book. I felt a tremendous amount of joy after buying the book, just to see the look of gladness on her blushing face.

Carbon tax. At first, the Canadian Federal Government, under the Liberals, unrolled a tax where 90 % of it was exposed to go back to the payers of the program.  Now, just that sentence alone. Think about it. 10 % going to schools, hospitals... I guess... And 90 % going back to the pocket that spent it... But, not your direct pocket. Not saying all of the provinces would have done it in the same way. At the first roll out, New Brunswick, the province in which I lived, just reduced the tax on gasoline to make up for the carbon tax increase. The feds said, no no, that is not right.. That is not what it is intended to be with this carbon tax.. So eventually, we may have gotten back one carbon tax check one year, and I truly forget. Now, far as I know, I never received a carbon tax cheque back to my pocket...  But I do know, of programs, that went to buy heatpumps for people under a certain income... Borador- labrador collie mix

 Borador, we got this pup in the fall of 2022, and was a dog that looked more like a black labrador when he was a pup. We got him around 4 to 5 months old, and was a biter. He loved to bite. He loved to eat rocks. You could take him for walks, and, he would start picking up rocks and chewing on them. Some, he swallowed. For sure, we tried to give him a treat, to get the rock out of his mouth before he swallowed some of them. We had to learn also, to take him on trails where there was no little rocks for him to chew or swallow. He would, puke them up, at night and it made us worry about him very much. Then winter came, froze the ground for 4 months or so. Good thing, as he forgot about picking up rocks as the winter passed and 2023 summer is here. He now, likes chasing and fetching sticks.  He did do messes in the house the first 2 months we had him at the house. He eventually, learned to go outside to do his things. They say you are more famous when you are dead.. lol...

 Have to see, and say, the viewership on this blog, has nearly tripled since its start in 2012 approximately. I went through a dry spell from 2014 to 2016, then a spike in 2017, then 2020 a short blip of a month or so, and finally the last 6 months of 2022 to today, I have been getting viewership spikes in the 1000s, outpacing my first 2012 by 3 times as many viewers. And, I have not been producing any books during this time, even creating anything. It is mostly from the USA, then France, Eastern European countries, Russia, and a few from Asia views. True what they say,  you are more famous when you are dead when you are a creator, than alive. I feel dead right now. I have nothing on the board to create, no focus or means to get Part 5 done. There is no release of anything to any publisher at this point in time. Strange how marketing goes. You take the famous Budweiser, with Spuds Mckenzie long ago.
