Google social network.

Well, I learned a few more things about the Google social network site yesterday.

First, when you are on your main page, you click on communities. From there, you can do a search for groups or clubs. When joining communities, you can start a post or share a post. When clicking on a members page or doing a search for one, you can just comment on that post of that member. Now I realize why I could not post what I desired, or start up one, in certain areas. It was because I was not in the communities for books, or what not.

Also, I was receiving a huge amount of mail from these communities. I did not realize, that you could shut this down just by clicking on "Notifications off or on" selection on the top left corner of the communities page. I turned them off, as there were too many e mails coming through just after a few hours of time.

So, you learn as you go. Maybe Google software designers are listening to my posts, and timing me... Just to see how slow this bugger is catching on to its site applications.

I am a little farther in understanding today, than I was a few days ago. Thank Goodness. There was a time I was going to abandon that site too.

Nothing should be made complicated. I am still trying to figure out what 'hangout' means on this site. And what does the clicking on "inner circle", "friend", and all that stuff mean?  Maybe someone will help me out later on.

The book business on my side, has taken a real stall. It has quietened down, on my Goodreads giveaway which is the link below:

I was going to start to write Part 4 of "The Supermarket Guy", but decided to wait as this lull may last for a bit. Just that I am waiting to see how many sales I receive, to be able to produce this next humor novel. If sales do not rise to a certain number ( I always said I needed approximately 800 sales), I may not even finish Part 4. Truly, if this Part 3 does not succeed, I will give up on this endeavor. It is a money losing situation for yours truly. I truly believe that humor, or at least my brand, does not sell very well.

Carbon tax. At first, the Canadian Federal Government, under the Liberals, unrolled a tax where 90 % of it was exposed to go back to the payers of the program.  Now, just that sentence alone. Think about it. 10 % going to schools, hospitals... I guess... And 90 % going back to the pocket that spent it... But, not your direct pocket. Not saying all of the provinces would have done it in the same way. At the first roll out, New Brunswick, the province in which I lived, just reduced the tax on gasoline to make up for the carbon tax increase. The feds said, no no, that is not right.. Borador- labrador collie mix

 Borador, we got this pup in the fall of 2022, and was a dog that looked more like a black labrador when he was a pup. We got him around 4 to 5 months old, and was a biter. He loved to bite. He loved to eat rocks. You could take him for walks, and, he would start picking up rocks and chewing on them. Some, he swallowed. For sure, we tried to give him a treat, to get the rock out of his mouth before he swallowed some of them. We had to learn also, to take him on trails where there was no little rocks for him to chew or swallow. He would, puke them up, at night and it made us worry about him very much. Then winter came, froze the ground for 4 months or so. Good thing, as he forgot about picking up rocks as the winter passed and 2023 summer is here. He now, likes chasing and fetching sticks.  He did do messes in the house the first 2 months we had him at the house. He eventually, learned to go outside to do his things. They say you are more famous when you are dead.. lol...

 Have to see, and say, the viewership on this blog, has nearly tripled since its start in 2012 approximately. I went through a dry spell from 2014 to 2016, then a spike in 2017, then 2020 a short blip of a month or so, and finally the last 6 months of 2022 to today, I have been getting viewership spikes in the 1000s, outpacing my first 2012 by 3 times as many viewers. And, I have not been producing any books during this time, even creating anything. It is mostly from the USA, then France, Eastern European countries, Russia, and a few from Asia views. True what they say,  you are more famous when you are dead when you are a creator, than alive. I feel dead right now. I have nothing on the board to create, no focus or means to get Part 5 done. There is no release of anything to any publisher at this point in time. Strange how marketing goes. You take the famous Budweiser, with Spuds Mckenzie long ago.
